Is North Yorkshire about to become the Potash Power House of the world?

The York Potash application is in its final stage of approval for the worlds deepest Potash mine.

The Boulby Potash Mine has repeated its stake in forging ahead with its £50 mil expansion plans.

Not so fast. Locally we have the four political parties Red, Blue, Green & Purple all making claims of 'progress' and increased support.  What about the Lib Dems?

OK its not a bank for dogs, 'Doggerbank'  the much heralded Windfarm development off our North East Coast is currently under PINS for 'Application by Forewind Ltd for an Order Granting Development Consent for the Dogger Bank Teesside A & B Offshore Wind Farm'.  The latest Questions to the Panel has a deadline of 5th February 2015.  Of some mild interest is the applicants proposal at Wilton, and the status of fishing activities 'in the Dogger Bank Site of Community Interest (SCI)'.
